🚢 Procurement Officer – Tanker Vessels

Department: Procurement / Tanker Vessel Operations

SAPCO Global is seeking an experienced Procurement Officer (Tanker Vessels) to join our dynamic team. This role is vital in ensuring the efficient sourcing and purchasing of spare parts, provisions, consumables, and technical services tailored to tanker vessel operations

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement for tanker vessels, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.

• Coordinate closely with vessel superintendents, captains, and chief engineers to fulfill requisitions.

• Source and negotiate with marine suppliers, ship chandlers, and contractors specializing in tanker vessel equipment and services.

• Ensure compliance and company procurement policies.

• Oversee logistics, customs clearance, and global delivery of supplies and services.

• Monitor budgets, track supplier performance, and drive cost-saving initiatives.

🔹 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Maritime Studies, or related field.

• 3–5 years of UAE procurement experience in the shipping industry, with proven knowledge of tanker vessel operations.

• Strong negotiation, organizational, and multitasking skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
